Having spent over 15 years designing gardens, Lizzie Tulip will be offering up top designer tips on how to improve your garden by thinking about our gardens in different ways.

Sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for ‘creating successful outdoor spaces,’ the evening will also be a visual journey through a number of projects, both large and small, to inspire and reflect upon.

Lizzie is an experienced garden designer and a Chelsea Flower Show medal winner. She lectures and writes about garden design and received Premier Gold at Harrogate Spring Show and a Large Gold and ‘Best in Show’ at the Great Yorkshire Show. Lizzie’s gardens have featured in National newspapers including the Sunday Telegraph and monthly magazines including Yorkshire Life. She has also seen her gardens opened for the National Open Garden Scheme and featured on The One Show and Gardeners World on the BBC.

Lizzie’s current portfolio of work include the re-design of the patio garden at York Theatre Royal and the Landscape Master plans for the extension to Sandburn Hall.

Tickets are £10 and are available (in advance only) from St Paul’s Church, tel. 01904 658820. A glass of fizz and nibbles will be included in the price.

Proceeds are going to St Paul’s re-ordering project. After Lizzie’s presentation, there will be a Q&A session, specifically on garden design.
