At St Paul’s, we love children and young people and are passionate about seeing them thrive as they grow as disciples of Jesus. Youth and Children’s groups run during term time at our 10.30am family services. The children normally head to their groups before the sermon and return towards the end for refreshments, or to join their families for Communion once a month. During the school holidays our normal youth & children’s work stops and we have All Age, interactive services at 10.30 instead. Everyone is welcome!
We have a creche facility available during the service for children aged 0-2. Parents are encouraged to stay with their babies; drinks are provided so parents can get to know one another and spend time with their children, whilst still being able to listen to the main service via a live audio link.
Scramblers is our group for 3-5 year olds, and is a space where children can have fun, play games, sing songs, and most importantly learn about God’s love for them.
Those in school years 1-5 can head on down to JUMP, our primary school group where children can get involved with a variety of games and activities all focused around helping them to grow as disciples of Jesus together.
SPYC (St Paul’s Youth Church)
SPYC is for those in school years 6-9. The young people are given the opportunity, through games and discussion, to go deeper in their faith and have fun with their friends along the way.
MIDWEEK YOUTH GROUPS:
DMC is our group for younger youth (those in school years 6-9) and is a really fun way to spend a Thursday evening. There is lots of free time for socialising and running around as well as the chance to gather together and chat through some of the big questions about life and faith. DMC meets on Thursdays during term time from 6.30-8pm in the church building.
Challenge is an interactive Bible study group for older teenagers in school years 9-13. It is a relaxed space where young people can chat, pray together, ask questions and deepen their faith. Challenge meets on Thursdays during term time from 8-9.30pm in the home of one of our church members.
